Meet-The-Teacher<p>​There have been some scheduling conflicts regarding our Meet-The-Teacher evening.  We apologize for any inconvenience.</p><p>Meet-The-Teacher</p><p>Wednesday, September 27, 2017</p><p>5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.</p>This night is meant to be an opportunity for your child to introduce his/her teacher, and to highlight the class and curriculum.  This is an informal meet and greet.  It is far too early in our learning for staff to discuss student progress.<br> ​<p><br></p>

Students are encouraged to donated $2. Remember if each person in the building brings a toonie we will have close to $1500 to donate to cancer research. </font>​​</p>

Eat Well to Excel Well to ExcelOur Eat Well to Excel program will start up once again this year, beginning Thurs. Sept. 14. in our DS class.<p></p><div>This nutrition​ program is available for those students who may not have enough food to eat for nutrition breaks.  These students, with the teacher's permission, are welcome to come to the DS class during the nutrition break to get a snack.</div><div><br></div><div>We have two nutrition breaks at W. H. Day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and sometimes students may have difficulty dividing their snack and lunch for two breaks.  A helpful hint that many parents use is to number their snacks 1 or 2 so they know at which break to eat their snack or lunch.  ​</div>
